I had the honor of designing a dress for my best friend's 18th birthday debut! Alyssa is gorgeous, and I absolutely love the color and fit on her.

She wanted something she can move in since she would be changing into this dress to dance in. I decided to make a simple halter dress, with a laced up back to add some edge to the piece.

I was quite excited to work on this dress because I never work with color, but I actually love pastel pink! Also, y'all should know I love anything lace...so this was just fun for me.

We only had two fittings for this dress and I finished it all in about a week in between school and work. One fitting was to measure and adjust her patterns, and the other was when I finished the whole dress. GO ME.

Such a fun night!
