To kick off the summer, I spent a Friday afternoon at the wonderful LACMA (Los Angeles County Musuem of Art). Admission was free for LA county residents, so it was a great way to relax with my family and enjoy the art, architecture, and good vibes.
I started my first series of pictures at the "Urban Lights" exhibit and the "Miracle Mile". I know, it's super cliche because I'm sure everyone is tired of seeing people posing in front of these exhibits, but hey, I'll do anything for a pretty picture.
I mean it when I say this outfit is so "me". If you know me personally, you'd know that my favorite colors are black and gold, and that is exactly what this outfit displays. The main focus of this outfit would have to be the shimmery gold shorts I have bought from Plato's Closet Long Beach for $10. I literally bought the shorts in a heartbeat, and I love how it's a perfect sporty piece with the drawstring and its loose fit. I paired it up with a snakeskin crop top from PacSun. It's one of my favorite tops to wear with anything because it's so versatile with anything I wear. To go over my outfit, I just threw on my DIY kimono for a little boho feel and to cover me up a bit more. All of my accessories were a steal: My bag was $5 from Forever 21 on black friday, my ring was $1 from Cotton On, and my sandals were from the LA Fashion District for $8.
