Eyelets

There's actually many items I have made in the last two months or so and I'm gradually posting them up whenever I feel like. 

For today's design feature, I made this simple eyelet top. Yes, I know, I design a lot for myself. I'm a girl, I need new clothes on the daily....I can't always afford to shop, you feel me?

Anyways, I found this gorgeous eyelet fabric in the LA garment district for only $5 a yard. Of course, that rang like church bells to me. 

For some reason, one day I was just VERY inspired by Henley tops, and I decided to do my own take on it.

I added some side slits which has been such a huge obsession of mine for a while now. I also put some two pockets at the front for more style since it was lookin' a little plain without them.

I love making pieces that I can style up or down, and so this top is perfect for that reason.
